New PC who dis?
Finally.. FINALLY! I have a mid-tier (Gaming) PC!!!! AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAA AAAAAAaaa aaa aaa!~ Above is an image of the PC (from the outside). Before you say anything; yeah, it doesn't look like much; but that is because I've cheaped out on the casing and other non-essentials; what matters is the inside (the specs are to the right of the photo). And as you can see, it's quiet a decent build if I do say so myself 😤 . In total it costed me around 650 USD, but I downplay the price when I talk to anyone IRl about it; cause.. it IS kinda pricy for a PC (from a normal person's perspective around these parts). My first ever computer was a Pentium 4, 500MB RAM PC (and it still runs on Windows XP to this day! and I still have it with my parents) and I got it in 6th grade, my family at the time wasn't that knowledgeable in computers and tech at the time, so we kinda got screwed over price wise... (it costed around 400 USD, not adjusted for inflation) and after a year of using it, I've always wanted to add more RAM or add a GPU to it; but I kept having to push the plans back due to financial reasons. Can't believe that I played Minecraft (even hosted a server at one point), programmed a few games, drew a bunch of art (and other things) with that PC for almost 6 years... it wasn't the best PC' but I did spend a lot of time on it during my middle-high school years. Fast forward a decade and here we are!~ I've finally done it!!! I ordered the Parts and had it assembled at the same store, took 2 weeks for it to all come together (thanks to Corona), but I'm glad it did! my "dream" rig is nowhere near done tho, I still need a second Monitor, an SSD, more RAM, and maybe other new peripheral equipment (mouse, keyboard, headphones). As of this writing it is day two of it being in my room, and so far; I love it! little to no lag, and I can listen on Spotify on the background no matter what programs I have open, and also watch Anime in 1080p which is a huge plus! It will take me a week or two to get it properly set up though.. I need to setup my Python environment, move a bunch of files from my Laptop to the PC, and tinker a few of the windows settings. Now the main bottleneck to my build is the internet connection, which is abyssmal.. (average around 20-80 kbps) but that is a problem I will tackle on another day, when I eventually move out of this room (that I rent) and get my own apartment where I can get an ISP of my choice to come down and do their magic. Right now, for internet connection I rely on the WiFi connection that's supplied throughout the building; but I've recently tried out using Mobile Data whenever I need to (e.g: Voice Calling). Anyways, I do plan to post on this "Blog" of mine more often, but it's quiet a hassle to do so.. this system I've made is not exactly the easiest to use as the poster (me)... I should really try to fix that and maybe even add more features to it (like a comment section for example), anyways; thanks for reading this far! (if anyone other than me is reading this,)
